So...not too much has really changed from 10 months. Lily weighs in at 20lb 10oz! We have officially switched her to her "big girl" car seat but it is still facing backwards and she seems to like it ok. It can stay rear-facing up to 35lb so we're hoping to keep her like that as long as she can stand it. She still only has two teeth (bottom center) but we think one at the top is working its way down. We are currently making the switch to a once a day nap because we are FINALLY sleeping through the night!!! YAY!!!!!! We've transitioned to the Next-Step formula and plan on doing that until 1 year and then making the switch to whole milk. She really wants what everyone else is eating so we try to accomodate but since she only has the two teeth, we still use the stage 3 baby foods at times. Bathtime is her FAVORITE time of day and she literally crawls all over the bathtub trying to escape when she sees me coming with the towel!! It is too funny! She has a new boyfriend and his name is MICKEY MOUSE! She greets him every morning with a big open mouth kiss on the nose and literally hugs him for a good two minutes. I'm so excited to see how she reacts to the "real" Mickey in just a couple of weeks....hmmm.... Lily cruises everywhere and will go from one piece of furniture to the next but still no walking. She can stand on her own but the moment she realizes she's doing it, she plops down and begins to crawl away. She is such a wonderful and sweet baby and it's so exciting to see her little personality poking through. She has perfected her wave and now says "hi" to EVERYONE she sees (no exageration folks!). We have considered "hi" her official first word because we know she knows the meaning to it. She does say ma-ma and da-da but those are such early sounds that babies make that it's kind of hard to tell. We are starting to introduce her to "little" babies and so far so good. Even when I'm holding one she seems more interested in poking their eyes out than getting upset. (not sure if that's good or bad???) I think she may be just trying to see if they're real babies or not? Anyway, she's a fun little girl and I'm so blessed to have her!
Here's a pic from our doctor's visit today. She's been pulling at her ears for several days now but I wasn't sure if it was an ear infection or teething....turns out neither. Go figure!

I think ear pulling can just be a sign of teething sometimes...
