Savannah Bridge Run

I DID IT!!! My first 10K in TEN YEARS!!!! ; )

This past weekend was the Savannah Bridge Run, which is supposively the hardest bridge run in the South! You run downtown through a couple of the squares and then cross our bridge that goes over the river at a 5 1/2 % grade TWICE! It was truly a killer and I will admit that I had to walk a couple of times going up the grade but I finished in the top 100 in my age group averaging about 11 min/mile (I usually do about 10min/mi if it's flat). : ( It was a great run and definitely gave me the motivation to keep going toward my goal of the Disney Princess Half in February! : )
