Past Couple of Weeks...

These past couple of weeks have been jammed packed with fun things that Lily Bug and I have been up to! My dear college friend, Martina, along with her little man, Colton, have taken us under their wings and shown us all the fun things that mommies and toddlers can do around Birmingham...
The last two Tuesdays we visited Mother Goose Storytime at the library! Lily was so overwhelmed that she didn't sit still but had a fantastic time! We went to a couple of birthday parties but since Hanz had our camera, I was unable to document with any pics :(
FORTUNATELY, my Christmas present came EARLY (THANK YOU Mom, Dad, Mardi and Bob) and now I'm back in action with this baby...
YAY!!!!!! So as most of you know that have one of these things you become addicted very quickly! You feel like you're an instant professional photographer and because you really can't take a "bad" pic with it, you have proof in your images! (warning, many pics to follow)
FIRST STOP...

McWane Center!

Colton LOVED the water...so much that his outfit was completely soaked when he was finished playing!! : )

my little scientist
the Bug couldn't get enough...until she made her way to the end of a tunnel! ; )
she LOVED the "Big" piano but didn't weigh enough to set off the keys...
so she found a giant Light-Bright...

and her shadow...

and her way into the mouth of a GIANT bass!

Luckily Colton came to her rescue and tried to control the scene

Our next adventure was a little less dramatic! We went to music time at a local church which was a lot of fun! We sang "Jingle Bells" with real bells and "This Little Light of Mine" (one of my FAVS as a kid!). Lily as always was right up in the teacher's face LOVING every minute of it!
